Bob Swezey, GM/COO
Bob joined the club in September 2019. With a vast background in the golf, resort, hospitality, amenities, recreation and homeowner association industries he offers local, regional and national experience from a few of the most highly regarded companies in the country that include the PGA Tour, Arvida, KemperSports and Burroughs & Chapin. Having overseen over 100 clubs, resorts, amenities, hotels, recreation outlets, sporting venues and HOA's in his career; Bob's wealth of knowledge and expertise brings a wide spectrum of nationally recognized excellence, awards and leadership vision that focuses upon differentiation, relevancy and change to set higher standards that benefit Members, staff and the community. Bob attended the University of South Carolina and has enjoyed over 35 years as a PGA Golf Professional. Bob and wife Kellie have two grown children and now live in River Hills.
Margie Martin, Membership Sales & Marketing Director
Margie was most recently the Director of Membership and Event Sales at TPC Tampa Bay where she lead those efforts for (8) years. Prior to her PGA Tour association,she was the Membership Director at Tampa Palms for (8) years. She is exceptionally knowledgeable in sales, marketing, social programming, communication and standards within the club industry and Tampa market. Margie's personality, ethics and integrity are beyond reproach. Margie joined our team immediately after the sale as she saw the raw potential of a NEW River Hills Country Club and the opportunities to help build a structure of trust and loyalty as a leader to our membership vision. Margie attended USF and received a degree in.
David Patterson, GCSAA Superintendent
Prior to joining the RHCC team, Dave's qualifications are derived from tenures at IMG Academy, Buckhorn Springs, TPA Tampa Bar, Innisbrook and Black Diamond. Not only is Dave an accomplished Superintendent, but also a good golfer. Dave is regularly accompanied by another member of the maintenance team, Barret, a Yellow Labrador that loves people. Dave's background with renovations, PGA Tour event operations and construction make him one of the very best in Florida.
Eric Pacana, PGA Head Golf Professional
Eric heads up the golf operations for tournaments, merchandising, range, golf cars and everyday operations. As the former PGA First Assistant Professional at the famed Bellair CC (oldest private club in FL), Clearwater, FL, he is a consummate professional in member service, golf instruction, tournament operations and the rules of golf. As a golf professional he wears many hats and does so very well when it comes to setting standards for this very important role as the face of River Hills Country Club golf.
Shane Turi, House and Service Manager
Shane has served in the most positions at RHCC since his start over a decade ago in the golf department. That is a tribute to the care and service he has always offered to ensure the dining areas and the clubhouse are ready for regular dining and special events. These focuses lure Members and Guests to relax.
