River Hills Cares
River Hills CARES is an outreach initiative of club management that generates funds from donations and through contributions derived by hosting numerous golf, tennis and social events to show our care and appreciation to those do good work in the general Valrico, FL community. In collaboration with our various club committees, groups and Member support groups, River Hills Cares selects a variety of services to offer goods and services as thanks. In 2020, River Hills Cares raised over $14,000. These funds were used to feed lunch to over 1,000 professional health care workers along with a breakfast and holiday gifts to all staff at the Lithia Springs Elementary School that serves hundreds of kids in our general community. Focuses in 2021 center around showing thanks and appreciation to emergency responders and Veterans in need.
